The Captain's Cove is the ideal getaway in the perfect location! A cozy, remodeled home is a paradise for all seasons! View of the Kalamazoo River in the front of the house. The property has a hot tub and is two blocks to Downtown Douglas shops/restaurants. Bike, walk or drive in minutes to downtown Saugatuck and Lake Michigan beaches.
Captain's Cove has in the Master a Queen bed, 2nd bedroom two Queen beds, and 3rd bedroom a King bed. Master bath with shower, 2nd bath with double sinks and tub/shower. Comfortably sleeps 8 people.
Make yourself at home in the living room, as it has plenty of seating on the wraparound couch, rocking chair and has a fireplace and a 55" TV. The décor is a cozy and modern with a nautical theme. The kitchen has high end stainless appliances, Viking stove, large farm sink, new cabinets, and granite countertops. A large dining table seats up to 10 for a meal or a card game. All the bedrooms are on the first level. The Master suite and 2nd bedroom have access to the patio on the year-round hot tub. The Master suite has a Queen bed with an adjoining bath with step in shower. The second bathroom has double sinks and a full tub/shower. Just off the bright natural light of the kitchen are a sliding leading out to the backyard is perfect for the whole family. (There is a pool in the back yard but is closed during the period this cottage is available) Spend your days in a luxurious spa, and your evenings by the fire. There is a fire pit with comfortable outdoor furniture to relax in. Each bedroom and the great room have window air conditioner units. A washer and dryer are conveniently available on the first floor for your laundry needs.

By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following terms:
- No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking.
- You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk.
- No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. There is parking for 4 cars in front of cottage.
- Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.
- Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1000 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.
- Damages are to be reported during your stay.
- Grills are to be cleaned after each use.
- Quiet time is after 11pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night!
- You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.
- Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than double the maximum occupancy of the cottage.
- Fireplace is available in the fall/winter months only.
- Fireworks are prohibited on property at all times.
- No more than 6 people in the hot tub at a time. KIDS CAN NOT BE IN THE HOT TUB WITOUT AN ADULT!
- . Firewood for the fire is not provided but available and local gas stations.
